$200B of wire transfers fail because of simple mistakes – most commonly, the “invalid account” error. To protect our customers, we developed a real-time deep learning AI capability that predicts if a bank account number was accidentally mistyped. This helped our customers avoid unnecessary delays of $500M in tax refunds, and that was just the beginning.

The financial services industry is keenly focused on innovation and agility, and is rapidly embracing new advances in technology to accelerate a wide range of business initiatives. As the industry faces new sources of competition and customer expectations, innovation has become more critical than ever before. Strategy and operations must be based on real-time data and information. To that end, data must be accessible from across multiple endpoints spanning on-premises and multiple cloud environments. The on-demand integration, harmonization, analysis, and use of data across organizational, cloud and on premises silos is providing a level of insight, agility, and innovation that is needed to stay competitive in today’s environment. Partnerships are crucial for almost any technology company. And in the financial services industry, where so much depends on trust and reputation it is even more crucial than in other industries.

Today, new entrants to the financial services industry have to compete not only with banks and established financial institutions, but also with tech giants like Google, Apple, Facebook and Amazon that are building and already offering their own financial services, partnering with those incumbent financial players and fintechs.

In other words, eary stage startups and even more veteran fintechs, MUST partner in order to grow and withstand competition over consumer attention. That is true not only for B2C fintechs, but also B2B fintechs.

“Do what you do best, and outsource the rest” (or partner with someone who will do the rest) – so partnering with companies that have a large client base or offer a strong niche service may benefit you in so many ways – and we’re here to talk exactly about that.
